The “McButney Fantasy Football” league consists of 22 managers divided between a 12-team upper league (“McButney”)—the original league established in 2012—and a 10-team lower league (“McCooch”)—established three years later in 2015.

The leagues rely on a relegation system. Each year, the bottom three teams of McButney are relegated to McCooch and the top three teams of McCooch are promoted to McButney.
